Lusaka to Chiawa Camp
You'll fly from Lusaka Airport to a bush airstrip, then hop on a motorboat for a scenic 20-minute ride down the Zambezi River. Once you reach Chiawa Camp, check into your suite and settle in before heading to a wildlife hide for some viewing. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the plunge pool with tea, then head out on a night game drive to catch nocturnal animals before returning for a 4-course dinner.

Chiawa Camp
Each morning starts with coffee or tea and light breakfast around the campfire. You can choose between morning game drives or guided bush walks to track wildlife and learn about the ecosystem. After returning to the lodge, you'll have hearty brunch and free time to yourself. In the afternoon, select from game drives, fishing trips, canoe cruises, or boat safaris on the Zambezi River where you might spot hippos, crocodiles, fish eagles, and elephants. Wrap up the day with sundowners on the water or a night drive, then enjoy dinner under the stars.

Old Mondoro Lodge
Following a morning game drive or walk, you'll take a 60-minute boat transfer through Lower Zambezi National Park to Old Mondoro Lodge. Mornings begin with coffee and campfire breakfast, then you'll choose between a game drive, bush walk, or Zambezi River safari to spot buffalo, elephants, leopards, lions, and hippos. After buffet breakfast in the lounge overlooking the river, pick your afternoon activities from bush walks, canoe excursions, fishing, or wildlife photography. End with a night drive to see nocturnal animals, then enjoy meals by the campfire under the African sky.

Old Mondoro Lodge to Lusaka
Wake early for coffee and light breakfast before heading out for one final game viewing activity. You'll capture last photographs of your wildlife experience before returning to camp. Then it's a road transfer to the airstrip where you'll board your flight back to Lusaka Airport, bringing your African safari to a close.
