Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After heading out early, you'll drive into the Ngorongoro Crater, which drops down about 2000 feet. Once you descend into this conservation area, the game viewing is intense since wildlife congregates around the limited water sources. You've got good chances of seeing lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and Cape buffalo all in one day. The volcanic landscape creates a natural amphitheater effect, and the crater floor offers different habitats from grassland to acacia woodland, so the variety keeps things interesting throughout your visit.

Tarangire National Park
