- Day 1
Arrival in Tirana
You'll arrive in Tirana and head straight into the city's core. Start at Skanderbeg Square to see the iconic statue, then walk through the Clock Tower and Et'hem Bej Mosque. The Pyramid of Tirana is worth checking out, and you should grab some street food at Pazari bazaar for lunch. By evening, stroll along Rruga Murat Toptani where you'll find live music and plenty of atmosphere to soak in.

- Day 2
Tirana to Thethi
Leave Tirana early and drive into the mountains, stopping in Shkoder to pick up supplies and have an espresso. You'll go through Boga valley, then stop at Qafe Thore Pass to take in the mountain views before pushing on. Once you reach Thethi, do a short hike through the national park with forests and clear streams to get used to trekking before the bigger days ahead.

- Day 3
Thethi to Vusanje Hike
This is your major trekking day with a 20 km hike and almost 1,200 meters of altitude gain. Starting from Okol village, the trail climbs steeply through switchbacks as you work through Albanian wilderness. You'll reach a mountain pass with views of tall peaks, then descend into Montenegro and finish in Vusanje, where you'll feel the real accomplishment of the day.

Vusanje Summit Challenge
A 20-minute drive takes you to Grebaje Valley in Prokletije National Park where the steep ascent starts. You'll reach the first summit and take a lunch break with panoramic views spread out before you. From there, push on to conquer a second peak, and the 360-degree views from the top make all that effort worth it. Head back down to Vusanje for a good night's rest.

Vusanje to Valbona
Today you'll navigate through valleys and past rugged rock faces while crossing the Bori and Prejsllopi Passes with incredible scenery all around. If you're ready for it, there's an optional chance to summit Zla Kolata (Montenegro's highest peak) for a full 360-degree panorama. After that, descend through the mountains and end up in Valbona with accommodation and dinner waiting.

Valbona to Thethi to Tirana
Your final trekking day leads through lush forests and open valleys on the way back to Thethi. You'll take in the last of the mountain scenery and wilderness before heading back to Tirana by car. As the landscape rolls past, you can reflect on the incredible adventure and everything you've accomplished over the past days in Albania's wild mountains.

Departure from Tirana
Your Albanian adventure comes to an end as you head to the airport for your departure flight. On the way, you'll review photos and memories of all the peaks, trails, and views from the past week. The mountains disappear beneath the clouds as the plane takes off, but the memories of this wild journey through Albania and Montenegro will stay with you long after you get home.
