The tour was well organised with a knowledgeable guide in Elif and an excellent driver in Jalad (?). The focus on supporting local suppliers of accommodation is great but resulted in staying in mostly fairly run down hotels. There is a lot of walking over loose and uneven surfaces to access some truly spectacular sights but it was sometimes very challenging in the sky high summer temperatures.
