- Day 1
Delhi to Haridwar
You'll arrive at Delhi and get transferred to Haridwar, an old temple city right on the banks of River Ganga at the foothills of the Himalayas. After checking in, the afternoon has you heading to Chandi Devi and Mansha Devi temples. By evening, you'll experience the Ganga Aarati ceremony at Har ki Pauri, watching the ritual unfold as lights and flowers float across the water.

Haridwar to Barkot
In the morning, you'll travel to Barkot, a quiet Himalayan town surrounded by hills and serving as a stop for pilgrims heading to Yamunotri Dham. Once there, you can freshen up and spend the rest of your day however you'd like, whether that's walking through the local market, trying regional dishes, or just relaxing at your hotel.

Barkot to Yamunotri
You're heading to Yamunotri, a sacred temple dedicated to the Yamuna river, India's second-most sacred waterway. Getting there means trekking about 13 kilometers from Hanuman Chatti. After visiting the temple, you'll head back down to Barkot in the evening.

Barkot to Uttarkashi
In the morning, you'll travel to Uttarkashi, an old town known as the 'Kashi of the North' and one of the more beautiful towns in the Garhwal region. When evening comes around, you'll visit the Kashi Vishwanath temple, which people believe was built over a thousand years ago by Parashurama.

- Day 5
Uttarkashi to Gangotri
This is a full day trip to Gangotri, sitting at about 3400 meters and one of India's highest pilgrimage spots. On your way there, you'll pass through Harsil, a quiet hamlet with snow-covered mountains, pine trees, and apple orchards. You'll see the Gangotri Temple, Bhagirath Rock, and the Bhagirathi River before heading back to Uttarkashi by evening.

Uttarkashi to Guptkashi/Sitapur
You'll travel to Guptkashi or Sitapur, a nice village on the route to Kedarnath Dham. When you arrive, you'll have free time to relax and adjust to the altitude and surroundings.

Guptkashi/Sitapur to Kedarnath
Early in the morning, you're starting out for Kedarnath, also called 'Kedarkhand'. The trek from Gaurikund takes roughly 19 kilometers to reach the temple, which sits at 3500 meters in the Rudra Himalaya range near Chorabari Glacier. The temple itself is massive and made of stone, with a large Nandi statue at the entrance. You'll also check out the Samadhi of Jagad Guru Adi Shankaracharya, who built this temple over a thousand years back.

Kedarnath
Today is yours to unwind in the sacred atmosphere of Kedarnath. You'll spend it resting and acclimatizing, then head back to Guptkashi or Sitapur for the night.

Guptkashi/Sitapur to Badrinath
You're heading toward Badrinath, a beautiful town sitting at around 3100 meters between the Nar and Narayan Mountain ranges. Along the way, you'll come across three important river confluences, or Sangams: Vishnuprayag, Nandprayag, and Karnaprayag. You'll reach Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu and established long ago by Sage Adi Shankaracharya, arriving in the evening.

Badrinath to Srinagar
After breakfast, you're off to Mana Village, the last settlement on India's border with Tibet. There you can see the sacred caves of Vyas and Ganesh. The views of Bhim Bridge and Swargarohini peaks are worth your time. If there's time left, you might go back to Lord Badrinath Temple before traveling to Srinagar for the night.

Srinagar to Rishikesh
You'll head to Rishikesh, an old temple city on the Ganga's banks. On the way, you'll see Deoprayag, where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers meet. Once there, you can check out Laxman Jhula, Baba Kali Kamliwala Ashram, Geeta Bhavan, and Gangaghat. Later, you'll watch the Ganga Aarati ceremony at Har ki Pauri in the evening.
