Itinerary

Beijing
Your guide picks you up from your hotel at 8:00am to explore Beijing's major landmarks. Start with the Temple of Heaven (or Beihai Park if it's Monday), then take a rickshaw through the historic Hutong alleys to get a feel for local life in the neighborhoods. After grabbing lunch at a local restaurant of your choice, head to the Lama Temple with its ornate architecture and religious significance. Later in the afternoon, move on to the Summer Palace, one of China's most beautiful royal gardens with its lakes and traditional pavilions, before returning to your hotel by evening.
