Itinerary
- Day 1
Ho Chi Minh City to Can Tho
After a hotel pickup in District 1, you'll head out to Vinh Trang Pagoda to get a sense of the local architecture and spiritual life. From there, the day transitions to a Mekong River cruise heading toward Ben Te where you'll pass the Four Islands. Along the way, you'll snack on fresh tropical fruits while listening to traditional folk music. Once in Ben Tre, you'll board a hand-rowing boat and spend time drifting through coconut-lined canals, which gives you a real feel for how the region's waterways work. There's a stop at a coconut candy workshop so you can see how locals produce these treats from start to finish. Lunch happens at Viet Nhat Eco-Resort, and while you're there, you can walk through the orchards and rice fields or try activities like cycling and rope swinging if that interests you. Later in the afternoon, you'll transfer to Can Tho for check-in at your accommodation. The day wraps up with a luxury dinner cruise on the Ninh Kieu River, giving you another water-based perspective of the area at night.
