Winnipeg
You'll arrive in Winnipeg and check into your hotel. Once you're settled, join your Frontiers North guide in the evening for a meet and greet with the group. This is when you'll learn what to expect from your polar bear adventure ahead.

Winnipeg to Churchill
An early morning flight gets you to Churchill. After landing, you'll take a tour through Churchill and the surrounding area. Later, head to the Itsanitaq Museum where you can learn about the region's history and culture from local perspectives.

Churchill
Start with dog sledding and an interpretive program about this traditional northern practice. Then check out the Parks Canada Visitor Centre to see exhibits on the region. By afternoon, you'll transfer via Tundra Buggy to the Tundra Buggy Lodge, where you'll stay for the next few nights in polar bear country.

The lodge's outdoor viewing platforms and field lights let you continue observing wildlife throughout the day and into the evening.
