You'll arrive in Zurich and get transferred to your hotel near the airport. After you're settled, the rest of the day is yours to wander around, get your bearings in the city, and grab dinner wherever looks good.

Zurich
Start by heading to Rhine Falls, one of Europe's largest waterfalls where you can view it from the platforms or hop on an optional boat ride to get closer. After that, take a self-guided walk through Zurich to see the Town Hall, Cathedral, and Opera House at your own pace.

Mount Titlis - Mount Rigi
Take the train to Lucerne, then continue to Mount Titlis via Engelberg. You'll ride the gondola and cable car with views of the alpine peaks, plus the Ice Flyer chairlift over the glacier. From there, head to Mount Rigi by train and cable car for green Swiss landscapes, and finish with a relaxing boat ride on Lake Lucerne back to Zurich.

If you're up for it, hike the scenic trails or visit Trummelbach Falls, which has ten glacier-fed waterfalls inside the mountain. You'll return to Zurich in the evening by train.

Innsbruck to Salzburg
Take the Nordkette cable car from Innsbruck's city center for panoramic views of the city, valley, and snow-capped Alps. Then catch the train to Salzburg and walk through the Old Town on your own, seeing Mozart museums, Salzburg Fortress, and the historic squares.

You'll have a full day to explore Vienna with your 48-hour pass. Check out Schönbrunn Palace and Zoo, Hofburg Imperial Palace, Belvedere Palace, and Albertinaplatz. Later, take a detailed tour of Schönbrunn Palace's interiors, the Great Gallery, and the gardens.
