Marlborough Sounds
Head out early to the Interislander ferry terminal for the Cook Strait crossing. Breakfast and complimentary bar service come with your Premium Lounge ticket as you take in the views. Once you reach Picton, you'll board the Beachcomber Cruises mailboat through the Marlborough Sounds with packed lunch onboard. By evening, you arrive at Portage Resort for a three-course included dinner.

Picton
Start with breakfast at Portage Resort overlooking Kenepuru Sound. You'll take the Beachcomber Cruises to tour the Paua Pearl Farm with morning tea and tastings included. Back in Picton, there's a three-course lunch at Allan Scott Wines Bistro with wine pairings, then two more wineries for tastings. After visiting Makana Boutique Chocolate Factory, you'll check into your Picton hotel with the evening free.

Then you'll board the Coastal Pacific train in Scenic Plus class with light lunch and afternoon tea while the landscape rolls past. You'll arrive in Kaikoura in the late afternoon, transfer to your hotel, and have an included dinner at a local restaurant.

Kaikōura

Later, board the Coastal Pacific in Scenic Plus class for dinner and drinks as you travel to Christchurch, arriving in the evening with a coach transfer to your accommodation.

Christchurch to Franz Josef
Board the TranzAlpine train in the morning with Scenic Plus package including breakfast and lunch while you travel through the South Island. The train reaches Greymouth, then you'll transfer to Hokitika for a pounamu jade experience with a local guide and Iwi member, plus a walk around the Hokitika Gorge loop. Coaches then head to Franz Josef where you'll check in and have an included dinner at your hotel.
