Your Travel Director leads a guided city tour that takes you through Melbourne's famous hidden laneways, where you'll discover eclectic little lanes, arcades, and the local cafe scene. After that, the rest of the day is yours to explore on your own, or you can join optional experiences like the Penguin Parade at Phillip Island if that interests you.

Melbourne to Ayers Rock
You'll fly from Melbourne to Ayers Rock Resort and arrive in the rusty red landscapes of Uluru. Your guide takes you to the perfect spot to watch the day disappear over Uluru while you hold a glass of bubbles in hand.

Uluru
Starting before dawn, you'll experience the magical Uluru sunrise and learn about the spiritual significance of this place and the Anangu people who care for the landscape during a guided base walk. Later, an Anangu artist explains Western Desert art, its totems and regional symbols. From there, you head to Kata Tjuta to walk through the towering domes of this ancient rock formation.

Ayers Rock to Cairns
On your last morning at Uluru, there's an optional early experience to see the Field of Light art installation by Bruce Munro, where 50,000 glowing spindles blanket the desert. You can walk to the top of a sand dune as morning arrives. Later, you fly to tropical Cairns.

Cairns
Pick your adventure: ride the scenic railway on the historic train winding across bridges and through tunnels to Kuranda village in the rainforest to see arts and crafts, then return via the Skyrail Cableway over ancient rainforest. Or combine your Kuranda visit with a wetlands cruise at Hartley's Crocodile to spot saltwater crocodiles. This evening, dinner at Salt House on the waterfront features regional seafood from a custom Argentinian wood-fired grill.

It's a full day of Sydney highlights. A guided tour of the Sydney Opera House shows you its architectural and performance secrets. Then you get on a Sydney Harbour Lunch Cruise with a focus on local food and wine. After that, head to Bondi Beach to spend time at the world's most famous stretch of sand.
