Itinerary
- Day 1
Luanda to Lubango
You'll arrive at 4 de Fevereiro International Airport in Luanda and go through check-in. After that, you board your TAAG flight heading to Lubango, touching down at Mukanka International Airport. Once you handle the arrival formalities, a transfer takes you to Hotel Serra da Chela for your first night.

- Day 2
Lubango
Breakfast comes first at the hotel, then you head out to Tundavala Fissures to see the natural landscape there. From there, you'll go to Cristo Rei statue for views overlooking the provincial capital, and you can catch the sunset. After lunch, you'll spend time with the Mumiila Tribe to see how they live traditionally. Later in the evening, you'll settle in at a campsite and have dinner around the campfire.

Lubango to Namibe
After breakfast at camp, you'll check out Hungueria Waterfall, a hidden spot behind a big rock where monkeys and eagles sometimes show up. Next comes Bowers Cemetery, then you travel to Leba Viewpoint for views of Serra da Leba and the landscape around it. By evening, you're heading to Namibe and staying overnight at Hotel Chik Chik.

Namibe
Following breakfast, you'll travel to the municipality of Virei to see prehistoric rock paintings, some of Angola's best examples with animal and schematic drawings. You'll then meet the Mucubal Tribe and learn about their pastoral lifestyle and traditional clothing. From there, you head back to Mocamedes for lunch, and you'll stay the night again at Hotel Chik Chik.

Namibe to Cunene River Mouth
The day starts with breakfast at the hotel before you travel to Tombwa, a coastal town that's mostly covered by the Namib desert. You'll cross across large sand dunes and reach the Cunene River Mouth, where river, desert, and sea all meet. The landscape there allows you to look for ducks, flamingos, turtles, seals, whales, dolphins, and oryx. Later you'll set up camp and enjoy dinner around the fire.

Cunene River Mouth to Luanda
You finish up with camp breakfast, then head back toward Namibe while looking for Welwitschia Mirabilis plants, an iconic desert plant in Angola. During the drive, you might spot gazelles, ostriches, jackals, zebras, and hyenas depending on conditions. You'll pass through Red Canyon and Arco for more natural scenery. After lunch, you travel back to Luanda on your TAAG flight.
