- Day 1
Ljubljana
You'll land at Ljubljana International Airport and connect with your driver for the trip to your hotel. Check-in starts at 14:00, so you'll have time to get settled in your room and take a first look around the city on your own.

Ljubljana
An 11:00 guided walking tour takes you through Ljubljana's Art Nouveau architecture and medieval squares with a local guide leading the way. The tour wraps up with a funicular ride up to Ljubljana Castle, which has been standing for about 900 years.

Ljubljana to Lake Bled
A minibus takes you on a half-day trip to Lake Bled to see the island and the Church of the Assumption of Mary. If you're traveling November through March, you'll also visit the medieval town of Radovljica, but April through October you'll have free time to explore Lake Bled itself.

After breakfast, you'll walk to Ljubljana's central train station (it's close to your hotel) to check in for your train journey. Check-in opens at 14:00, though early check-in may be possible depending on availability. You'll have free time to walk around and check out attractions nearby.

Budapest
You'll see Budapest from different angles on this guided tour. First comes a 3-hour bus tour in a climate-controlled vehicle with a professional guide, and then you'll spend an hour on a Danube river cruise to view the city from the water.

Danube Bend
This full-day tour heads into the Danube Bend region to see Esztergom and Hungary's largest Catholic church. The return to Budapest happens by boat on summer weekends or by coach during winter months.
