Palermo
Start the morning with a walking tour through Palermo's famous markets where you'll taste traditional Sicilian street food and learn about the city's Arab and Norman culinary heritage. After that, head to Monreale Cathedral to see its Byzantine mosaics. You can choose your own adventure there - either explore the peaceful cloisters or climb the tower for views over Palermo.
