Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Copenhagen
You'll arrive in Copenhagen and get a private transfer to your hotel in the city centre. The rest of the day is yours to wander around and get a feel for the city. Check out Strøget, the main shopping street, which has plenty of shops, bars, and cafes. It's a good way to start getting oriented and maybe grab a bite somewhere along the way.

- Days 2 - 3
Copenhagen
After breakfast at your hotel, you have time to explore Copenhagen on your own before joining a guided canal tour around the harbour. The tour takes you past churches, castles, and historical houses, including the famous Little Mermaid statue and the Royal Palace Amalienborg. You'll walk around Nyhavn, the historic port where H.C. Andersen lived, and it's now a popular spot full of life. If you're interested, you can rent a bike and cycle around like locals do—Copenhagen has had a strong cycling culture since the 1880s.

- Day 4
Copenhagen to Odense
You'll have breakfast at your hotel, then take a train west to Fyn island, getting to Odense in about an hour and a half. The rest of the day is open for you to explore this historical city. H.C. Andersen was born here, and you can visit the museum dedicated to his life and work, or check out his childhood home in one of the charming neighbourhoods.

- Days 5 - 6
Odense to Aarhus
After breakfast, you'll board a train to Aarhus on Jylland, Denmark's mainland, arriving in roughly an hour and a half. As the country's second-largest city, Aarhus has a younger, more energetic feel. You can spend time at ARoS, a modern art museum with striking architecture, then walk through the city centre checking out hip boutiques, cafes, and galleries. Don't skip the cathedral, which is the longest and tallest of its kind in Denmark. Den Gamle By, an open-air museum, shows you reconstructed buildings that tell the story of Danish urban life from centuries past.

Aarhus to Copenhagen
Finish up your sightseeing in Aarhus this morning. In the afternoon, you'll head to the ferry terminal and sail back to Sjælland Island for just over an hour. After docking in Odden, the bus takes you back to Copenhagen, which takes about 3 hours 30 minutes total. Your last evening is free to spend at Tivoli Garden or walking the cobbled streets of the old city centre. The Round Tower offers great views over Copenhagen if you want to go up.
