Delhi
You've got a full day of sightseeing ahead in Delhi. Start with Jama Masjid, then head to India Gate and the Red Fort (UNESCO site). From there, you'll see Gandhi Memorial, Parliament House, and Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory. After lunch, continue to Humayun's Tomb, which shows off some really striking Mughal architecture. Head back to your hotel by evening.

Delhi to Agra
After breakfast, you'll check out and drive to Agra, stopping at Agra Fort along the way. There you can walk through the Pearl Mosque and the public and private audience halls, which are remarkable examples of Mughal-era construction. Next you'll visit Itmad-Ud-Daulah (known as the Baby Taj), a beautiful mausoleum built by Empress Noor Jehan. Check into your Agra hotel for the night.

Agra
Start early for your visit to the Taj Mahal, the white marble monument built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. You'll spend some time there taking it all in. Later this afternoon, you'll head to Agra's local markets to look for traditional handicrafts and souvenirs. Return to your hotel to relax for the evening.

Agra to Jaipur
After breakfast, you'll drive toward Jaipur and stop in Fatehpur Sikri, the historic city built by Emperor Akbar. You'll see the Buland Darwaza, a massive 54-meter gateway that commemorates Akbar's victory over Gujarat, and explore the Diwan-i-Khas where he held religious and political discussions. Then it's on to Jaipur, where you'll check into your hotel for the night.

Jaipur
Today covers several of Jaipur's main sites. Start with Jal Mahal, the water palace sitting in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. Head to Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds, with its distinctive five-story pink sandstone facade. After that, you'll see Jantar Mantar, the 18th-century astronomical observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh II (also UNESCO-listed). Finish with Amber Fort, perched high on a hill and showing both Hindu and Mughal architectural styles. Return to your hotel by evening.
