London
You'll arrive in London and get settled at your hotel. After checking in, the afternoon is yours to do what you like. Walk through Hyde Park, see Tower Bridge and Tower of London, or browse the shops in Knightsbridge if that's more your style. Then you'll meet up with your group for dinner this evening.

London
A local guide takes you through London's major landmarks, walking past the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace. You'll spend the morning at the Imperial War Museum going through WWI and WWII exhibits, including a recreated trench and the Holocaust Gallery. The afternoon is free, so you can either relax or take an optional trip to St. Paul's Cathedral or Tower of London if you want to see more.

London to Brussels
You'll take Eurostar to Brussels. In the afternoon you get to choose what interests you most with Insight Choice. Head to the Waterloo battlefield to learn how Napoleon was defeated in 1815, or explore Brussels with a local and take a chocolate-making class. Dinner is with your group at a local restaurant in the evening.

Ypres
Travel to Ypres where your World War I focus really begins. You'll visit major battlefield sites including Hill 60, Polygon Wood, and the Passchendaele Memorial. Pay your respects at Tyne Cot Cemetery, the largest Commonwealth military cemetery in the world. Learn about the Battle of Messines and what Australian and New Zealand forces went through, then try some local Belgian beer and hear the Last Post at the Menin Gate.

Visit the Australian cemetery at Fromelles to pay respects at a site marking one of Australia's darkest military days. Then explore Arras and the Vimy Ridge Visitors Centre to see Canada's defining moment. You'll stop at the Lochnagar Crater and memorials for South African and New Zealand forces at Longueval. End your day in medieval Amiens, wandering the historic Saint-Leu district with its colorful buildings, canals, and old water mills.

Back in Amiens, you'll view the largest Gothic cathedral in France.

Rouen
Travel to Rouen, Normandy's capital. Look at its ancient cathedral, a Gothic structure that inspired Monet's paintings. Walk through the narrow streets under the Great Clock to Old Market Square where a modern church marks where Joan of Arc was burned in 1431. Later, visit the Château Champ de Bataille, a 17th-century architectural gem.

You'll follow the Rangers' path to Pointe du Hoc, checking out bunkers and the Rangers Memorial. Experience D-Day through interactive exhibits and board an actual C-47 from 1943 for a simulated flight over the landing beaches. Visit Dead Man's Corner from Band of Brothers and the Utah Beach Museum. Reflect at Omaha Beach Memorial and Normandy American Cemetery. Optional dinner available to try local Normandy food.

Versailles to Paris
Your travel director shows you the monuments, churches, and elegant squares of Versailles. Head to Paris where as evening falls, you'll see the City of Light with its buildings and landmarks lit up beautifully. An optional cabaret show is available if you want to add something special to the evening.

Paris
Walk around Paris with a local guide checking out famous spots. You'll see the Eiffel Tower, the 3,000-year-old Luxor obelisk at Place de la Concorde, and drive along the Champs-Élysées toward the Arc de Triomphe. A scenic Seine cruise is available if you want it. Dinner features French cuisine and wine.
