Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Tokyo
You'll arrive in Tokyo and be met by your driver right at the arrival hall. From there, it's a private car transfer to your hotel, so you can check in without any hassle and get settled for the trip ahead.
- Day 2
Tokyo
This day is yours to spend however you like around Tokyo. Head to Shinjuku for the busy shopping and nightlife scene, or check out Shibuya's famous crossing and youth culture. Akihabara has the electronics and anime shops if that interests you, and Tokyo Tower offers good city views. Giza is another option depending on what you want to see that day.

Cycling and Canoe Experience
An English-speaking guide meets you with a private car for the day. You'll either do a cycling tour around Lake Kawaguchiko to see UNESCO heritage sites, with stops at Fuji Omuro Sengen Shrine and Kawaguchi Sengen Shrine among the natural scenery, or try a beginner-friendly Canadian canoe experience on the lake with an instructor if you prefer something different.

Hakone to Kyoto
Start at Lake Ashino and take the Hakone Pirate Ship for views of Mt. Fuji and the surrounding lake. Next, ride the Hakone Ropeway up to Owakudani where you can see volcanic craters and geothermal activity. After that, head to the Mishima Skywalk, Japan's longest suspension bridge at 400 meters, for more Mt. Fuji and Suruga Bay views. Later, you'll board the included Shinkansen bullet train from Odawara to Kyoto. Once you arrive, head to your hotel on your own.

Kyoto
Kyoto is open for you to explore at your own pace using taxis or public transport. The Arashiyama district with over 1000 years of history is worth seeing, including Tenryuji Temple and its gardens, the famous Sagano Bamboo Forest, Togetsukyo Bridge, or the traditional Okochi-Sanso Villa with its fine architecture and wabi-sabi teahouse. Pick what appeals to you most.

Fushimi, Nara, and Kyoto
You'll visit Fushimi Inari Shrine with thousands of vermilion torii gates and wooded trails around Mount Inari (233 meters). From there, go to the Gekkeikan Okura Sake Museum to learn about the local sake-brewing tradition and history, then try some sake using underground water and traditional methods. Later, head to Nara Park to see over 1000 freely roaming sacred deer and pick up some deer crackers. Finally, stop at Todaiji Temple, one of Japan's most significant temples that was originally built in 752 as the head temple for all provincial Buddhist temples.
