Panama City
You'll arrive in Panama City and head to your hotel located right in the heart of the action, surrounded by shops, restaurants, and bars. After settling in, the rest of the day is yours to walk around and get a feel for the neighborhood at whatever pace you like.

Panama City
This morning starts with a tour of Panama City's historic sites, beginning at the 16th-century ruins of Panama Viejo. From there, you'll walk through the colorful colonial streets of Casco Antiguo, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later, you'll head to the Miraflores locks of the Panama Canal to watch ships make their way through, and then check out the canal museum to understand how this important waterway operates.

Panama City to Boquete
Early in the day, you'll get a transfer to Albrook Airport for a 45-minute flight to David. After landing, you'll travel to Boquete, a mountain town known for its cool weather and natural surroundings. Once there, you can spend the afternoon checking out the small town, then go on a short guided hiking tour with a local English-speaking guide to look for wildlife like the rare quetzal bird.

Boquete
You'll start your morning walking across suspension bridges through the cloud forest, which gives you a unique perspective from above with views of waterfalls and wildlife. In the afternoon, you'll visit a coffee plantation nearby where you'll learn how they cultivate, harvest, and process their coffee, followed by a chance to taste it yourself.

Boquete to Isla Colón
A private transfer takes you to Chiriqui Grande, which takes about 2.5 hours, then you'll board a water cab to Isla Colón for roughly 45 minutes. Once there, you can explore the laid-back Caribbean town with its cozy bars, restaurants, and shops. The afternoon is free, so you can either wander around or choose from optional activities like kayaking, biking at Playa Bluff beach, or taking a water cab to Carenero for drinks.

Isla Colón
You'll spend the full day on a boat tour that winds through mangrove forests where you might spot water birds. Next is Coral Cay for snorkeling in calm waters that work well year-round for all skill levels. You'll have fresh seafood at waterside restaurants built on stilts, and then continue to Isla Bastimientos, a jungle-covered island you can only reach by boat. This island is known for Red Frog Beach and its red poison dart frogs, so you can either walk the jungle trails or just relax there before heading back.
