- Katrin· June 22nd, 2025The trip was amazing. A great mix of cultural programs and hiking. The temples and especially the trip to Ijen itself are worth the travel but I liked even more that you can visit some local businesses. I loved that I could try to play the local instruments. I would recommend to expand this trip and add one day between Bromo and Ijen. It would be lovely to had some rest and a good sleep before visiting Ijen.Both nights are very short because of the departure. But it was totally worth it. They arranged to be in the first group to visit the blue fire at the Ijen volcano and it’s the best you can get. Otherwise it will get crowded a lot. I also was very happy that this tour is a privat tour! Therefore a special thanks to my driver Agung for the great company during my travel. From the pick up at the airport to the drop off at my hotel in Bali I felt well taken care of. He helped me a lot and arranged all according to my needs. So I could relax and enjoy my time in Java. Also he helped me find great places to taste local food and was a great companion. I felt like travelling with a friend. I would recommend to ask if he’s available and you should book this tour!Show more

- Erik· April 2nd, 2025the trip was a surprise for us since it was an individual trip while we assumed it would have been a group trip. Which was perfect for us by the way, the individual trip. The guide in Jakarata, a lovely lady, was very pleasant to deal with and knowledgeable about everything. The trip can Yogjakarta to Bali with driver and guide was ideal and they were 2 very pleasant persons. Finally , it should also be a, little click..... The accommodations were fine (from ordinary to excellent) so on average I think it was definitely ok. I was a bit skeptical beforehand (considering bad reviews I read...) but it turned out very well.
