Itinerary
- Day 1
Ho Chi Minh City to Mekong Delta
Meet up with your group early in the morning and head south toward the Mekong River Delta. You'll spend the day traveling through the delta on traditional sampan boats, getting a feel for how people move around this waterway region. Biking along the smaller waterways gives you a different perspective, and you'll stop in Ben Tre and Cai Thia to see local life up close. The afternoon includes time at a local family's home where they'll show you how to prepare spring rolls and Banh Xeo, so you're both learning and helping with their daily cooking routine. As evening arrives, stick around for a lantern-lit performance put on by villagers, which wraps up the day nicely.

- Day 2
Mekong Delta
After breakfast, you'll head to the community riverside market to see what locals are buying and selling. From there, a boat takes you out to the Pottery Brick Village, sometimes called the Red Kingdom because of all the clay work happening there. Getting around by bicycle lets you move at a slower pace and really take in the area. Later, you'll drive toward Can Tho in the Mekong Delta, and once you arrive, the afternoon is yours to do what interests you. If wildlife draws you in, there's bird watching available, or if you'd rather stick to town and see what's around, that works too.
