Itinerary
- Day 1
Keflavik to Reykjavik
You'll land at Keflavik and catch the Flybus shuttle into Reykjavik, about 50km away. The drive takes roughly 45 minutes, so depending on your flight time, you might have the afternoon free to wander around Iceland's capital on your own. Grab lunch somewhere along the main streets, check out a few local spots, or just rest up after your journey.

- Keflavik International Airport / Keflavíkurflugvöllur (KEF), Keflavíkurflugvelli, Sandgerði, Southern Peninsula Region 235, Iceland (Flybus PLUS shuttle transfer from Keflavík International Airport to your accomodation in Reykjavík. The Flybus departs from Keflavík Airport 35-40 minutes after each flight arrival. )

- Day 2
Blue Lagoon & Reykjanes Peninsula
Your day kicks off at the Blue Lagoon, where you'll soak in the geothermal waters while looking out at the black lava rock surrounding you. After that, you'll head to Reykjanes Peninsula to see hot springs, dramatic mountain formations, and some really interesting geological features. Later in the day, a guide takes you through Reykjavik's main areas and you'll do a local food tasting, trying different Icelandic flavors and specialties.

- Day 3
Reykjavik & Solar Eclipse Experience
Spend the morning and afternoon wandering through Reykjavik at your own pace. Walk down Laugavegur Street where you'll find shops, cafes, and galleries mixed throughout. That evening, you'll get special eclipse glasses and head to a restaurant with a telescope set up to watch the solar eclipse happen. After the event, you'll have a 3-course dinner with sparkling wine to talk about what you saw.

Golden Circle
You're heading out on the Golden Circle route, starting at Thingvellir National Park, which is a UNESCO site. From there, you'll see Gullfoss waterfall with its powerful water flow, then move on to Geysir Geothermal Area where geysers shoot up from the ground. The day winds down with traditional Icelandic hot spring bread served with butter, boiled eggs, and herring for dinner.

- Day 5
Reykjavik to Keflavik
Time to head home. The Flybus shuttle picks you up from your Reykjavik accommodation and takes you back to Keflavik airport, 50km away. The ride out takes about 45 minutes, so plan to leave with enough time before your flight.
