Itinerary
- Day 1
Bishkek to Karakol
Your guide picks you up at Bishkek airport and you'll have breakfast in the city before heading toward Issyk-Kul Lake. On the way, you stop at Burana Tower to check out the historic structure. Later in the day, you'll see an eagle hunting demonstration in Bokonbaevo village on the lake's south shore, then walk through Fairy Tale canyon with its unusual rock formations. By evening you're in Karakol where you'll have dinner at a local Dungan family's home.

- Day 2
Altyn Arashan
After breakfast at your hotel, you trek to Altyn Arashan Gorge using the Soviet Union Track. You'll visit natural mineral hot springs and have lunch at a yurt camp in the area. On your way back to Karakol, you get to swim in the mineral hot spring pool at Aksuu. Dinner wraps up the day at another local family's home.

- Day 3
Sary-Jaz Valley
You head out early morning in a 4WD SUV toward Sary-Jaz valley, crossing Chon-Ashuu Pass with mountain views along the way. At Enilchek, a former Soviet manufacturing and mining site, you explore the abandoned mine and see what's left behind. A packed lunch keeps you going, and later you relax at Kara-Tash hot springs where the water is naturally heated with radon. You return to Karakol by evening.

- Day 4
Karakol to Son-Kul Lake
You start in Karakol by visiting the Dungan mosque, known for its traditional Chinese architecture built without any nails. Then you travel north along Issyk-Kul Lake's shore to Kochkor village for lunch at a local guesthouse. From there, you continue to Lake Son-Kul at 3000m elevation, passing through Kalmak Ashu Pass where yaks sometimes show up. You arrive at a yurt camp for dinner and have the evening free.

- Day 5
Son-Kul Lake to Kelsuu Lake
After an early breakfast, you leave the yurt camp and head toward Lake Kelsuu. The route takes you through Moldo Ashu Pass with its winding road, then into Naryn city where you stop for lunch at a local restaurant or guesthouse. You'll pass traditional villages with interesting lifestyles and tombstones along the way. By evening you reach Kok Kiya village for dinner and overnight at another yurt camp.

Kelsuu Lake
You start with breakfast then take a horseback trek to Lake Kelsuu early in the morning, spending about 2 hours enjoying the views before heading back. After lunch at the yurt camp, you transfer to Naryn in the afternoon.

Naryn to Bishkek
You continue toward Bishkek and stop in Kemin at a popular local spot to try traditional Kattama bread and Samoor chai (also called Kempir Chai). Once in Bishkek, you visit Ala Archa National Park before having a farewell dinner at a local restaurant and returning to your hotel.
