- Day 1
Barcelona
You'll arrive at Barcelona-El Prat Airport and head to your hotel to settle in. The rest of the day is yours to start getting a feel for the city and its neighborhoods. Barcelona has a lot to offer once you start walking around, from the architecture throughout the streets to the local cafes and shops.

After breakfast, the day is completely open. You can wander through the city at your own pace and check out whatever interests you most. Walk around looking at the architecture, spend some time at Barceloneta Beach, browse through La Boqueria Market for local food and goods, or just explore different neighborhoods. You might also head out to experience some of the nightlife later.

Following breakfast, you'll board a double-decker hop-on hop-off bus with audio guide and explore Barcelona at your own pace. The Red Route takes you through historic sites and monuments across the city. If you prefer, the Blue Route focuses on the architectural pieces throughout Barcelona. You can get off whenever something catches your interest and hop back on when ready.

Barcelona to Madrid
After breakfast, you'll make your way to Barcelona train station and board the AVE high-speed train heading to Madrid. The journey runs just under 3 hours, so you'll have time to relax before arriving. Once in Madrid, you'll check into your hotel and then have the rest of the day free to look around the capital and get oriented.

Madrid
Following breakfast, you'll board a double-decker hop-on hop-off bus with audio guide to explore Madrid on your terms. The Blue Route covers historic Madrid and artistic landmarks throughout the city. Alternatively, the Green Route shows you modern Madrid and contemporary areas. Hop off and back on as many times as you want to explore what interests you.

You'll have breakfast and then head to Madrid-Barajas Airport for your flight to London. Once you land, you'll transfer to your hotel and can start exploring this historic capital.
