Itinerary
- Day 1
Athens to Olympia
Your driver picks you up in Athens and takes you first to the Corinth Canal, where you'll see this 80-meter engineering feat that cuts between two seas. From there, head to the Theatre of Epidauros to walk around its ancient ruins and learn how the acoustics here still work so well that 15,000 people could hear performances from every seat. Next stop is Mycenae, where you'll check out the famous Lion Gate and see Agamemnon's tomb among the other ancient structures. After driving through some nice Peloponnese towns along the way, you'll arrive at your hotel in Olympia and settle in for the night.

Olympia to Delphi
After eating breakfast and leaving your hotel, you'll get a guided tour of the Archaeological Site of Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games. You'll walk through the sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, check out the ancient stadium, and see the museum filled with artifacts from the games. From there, drive through the scenic plains of Achaia, passing through Nafpactos and Itea on your way to Delphi. By evening you'll check into your hotel in this ancient city, known for its Oracle, and have dinner there.

- Day 3
Delphi to Kalambaka
After breakfast and checking out, a guide takes you through the ruins of Delphi to see the Temple of Apollo, the ancient theatre, and the museum where the famous Charioteer statue is displayed. Then you'll travel to Kalambaka, a small town located beneath the towering rock formations of Meteora. Check into your hotel and have dinner.

Meteora to Athens
After breakfast and checkout, you'll visit two of Meteora's monasteries, which sit on top of massive rock formations. Inside these monastic spaces you'll see Byzantine art and get time to look around on your own. Later, grab lunch at a local taverna. On the drive back to Athens, stop at Thermopylae to see the historic Battle site and the monument honoring King Leonidas and his Spartan warriors. You should be back in Athens by early evening.
