- Day 1
Budapest
Your driver meets you at the airport and takes you to your hotel. After that, the rest of the day is yours to settle in and relax before the tour really gets going.


- Day 2
Budapest
You'll start with a guided tour of Budapest, walking and driving across the Chain Bridge into the Castle District where you get panoramic views of the city. Heroes' Square and the Hungarian Synagogue are on the itinerary. Later in the evening, you'll board a one-hour Danube cruise with wine, watching the illuminated landmarks pass by from the water.

Budapest to Belgrade via Novi Sad
Head south into Serbia and visit the Zvonko Bogdan Winery for a tour and wine tasting. Then you're in Novi Sad, the 2021 European Capital of Culture, where you'll walk the pedestrian zone, see City Hall, and climb up to Petrovaradin fortress. Dinner happens at the fortress, and after that you continue to Belgrade. The evening is free, and Skadarlija's old quarter is worth checking out if you want to wander around.

Belgrade
Your Belgrade walking and driving tour starts at Knez Mihailova Street, then you'll sample local coffee and rakija at one of the city's oldest taverns. You'll walk through Belgrade Fortress and Kalemegdan Park, and from there head into New Belgrade to see the Brutalist buildings, the modern Waterfront, Ada Bridge, and the Temple of Saint Sava. By afternoon, you'll have free time to do your own thing.

Belgrade to Ljubljana via Zagreb
You're traveling from Belgrade to Zagreb today. In Zagreb you'll see Kaptol and the Franciscan monastery, the Church of Saint Francis, Dolac farmers' market, and the baroque Church of Saint Mary at Ban Josip Jelacic Square. After lunch, you'll cross into Slovenia and stop at Otocec Castle before arriving in Ljubljana for the evening.

Ljubljana and Lake Bled
This morning you're strolling Ljubljana's riverfront, checking out the Cathedral of Saint Nicholas, the baroque Town Hall, medieval Town Square, Robba's Fountain, and the central market. Then you'll head to Lake Bled for a pletna boat ride to the island and the Church of Saint Mary there. Bled Castle is also on the list. You'll return to Ljubljana to spend the night.

Ljubljana to Portoroz via Postojna Cave and Goriska Hills
After checking out, you're heading to Postojna Cave, which is about an hour away. An electric train takes you through the cave system where you'll see stalactites, stalagmites, limestone pools, and underground waterfalls. Later you're in the Goriska Hills visiting the medieval village of Smartno and a local winery for tasting. By evening you'll reach Portoroz on the Istrian coast.

Portoroz to Porec via Groznjan and Motovun

Afterward, you'll walk around Motovun, an ancient hilltop town with medieval architecture and countryside views, before checking in at your hotel in Porec.

Later you're in Pula exploring the Roman amphitheatre, Temple of Augustus, Triumphal Arch of Sergius, and Twin Gates before heading back to Porec.

Porec to Plitvice Lakes via Opatija
After checking out, you'll head to Opatija for a coffee break along the famous Lungomare promenade with sea views. From there you're driving through countryside with glimpses of the Adriatic before reaching Plitvice Lakes National Park. A three-hour guided tour covers both the upper and lower lakes, and you'll have time to relax at a restaurant before checking into your hotel.

Plitvice Lakes to Split via Trogir
You're traveling to Trogir, a UNESCO World Heritage Site on a small island with Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque buildings. The Cathedral of Saint Lawrence, Clock Tower, Loggia, Land Gate, Kamerlengo Castle, and Saint Mark's Tower are all here. Then it's on to Split, Dalmatia's largest city with 1,700 years of history. You'll enter through the Golden Gate and explore Diocletian's Palace, the former Temple of Jupiter, Cathedral of Saint Domnius, and the Riva promenade.

- Day 12
Split and Hvar
A short drive gets you to the ferry port where you'll board a high-speed catamaran to Hvar, sailing through the Splitska Vrata strait. Once on the island you're exploring Venetian architecture, traffic-free streets, the harbour, Renaissance Cathedral, Benedictine Convent, Franciscan monastery, and the Church of Our Lady of Mercy. You'll have plenty of free time for optional boat trips to the Pakleni Islands, beach time, or lunch at local spots. The catamaran takes you back to Split in the late afternoon.
