  1. Day 1

    Arrival in Bangkok

    Your driver picks you up at the airport and takes you to the hotel for check-in. After that, you've got the rest of the day to settle in and adjust to the time difference. It's a good idea to take it easy and get comfortable with your surroundings.

  2. Day 2

    Bangkok to Phitsanuloke

    Head north and start at Bang Pa In to see the former royal summer residence. From there, you'll move on to Ayutthaya, a UNESCO-listed ancient capital with temples throughout the area. Next is Lopburi, where you can see Phra Prang Sam Yod Temple, a large and impressive structure. By evening you'll arrive in Phitsanuloke for the night.

  3. Day 3

    Phitsanuloke to Chiang Rai

    After breakfast, you're off to Sukhothai, Thailand's first capital, to walk through historical temples like Wat Sra Sri and Wat Sri Chum. Later, you'll head to Sri Satchanalai to check out ancient ruins in the area. Then it's on to Chiang Rai, where you'll stay for the night.

  4. Day 4

    Golden Triangle

    This morning you'll visit hill tribe villages of the Akha and Yao people in the northern mountains. After that, you head to Mae Sai, Thailand's northernmost border town. Following lunch, you'll explore the Golden Triangle where Thailand, Laos, and Burma meet. An optional boat trip on the Mekong River can be arranged, and then you return to Chiang Rai for the night.

    After breakfast, head to Mae Ka Chan to see the famous hot springs there. Then you travel through scenic hills and jungles toward Chiang Mai. Once you arrive, you'll visit Wat Phra Dhat Doi Suthep, a hilltop temple with nice views over the city. By evening, a traditional Kantoke dinner features northern Thai food and cultural dance performances.

    You'll spend the day at an elephant rescue park where you can interact with rescued elephants in an ethical setting. During the day you feed them, walk with them, bathe them, and play. By afternoon you're back at your hotel in Chiang Mai.

    Chiang Mai to Phuket

    Departure from Phuket

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 50 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
