  1. Day 1

    Sydney to Canberra

    Head out from Sydney toward the Southern Highlands wine country this morning. You'll stop at Gold Creek Station farm to meet Craig Starr's family, and there's a Be My Guest BBQ lunch set up for you. After that, continue on to Canberra for a behind-the-scenes tour of Parliament House, which gives you a real sense of how Australian politics actually works in this purpose-built capital.

  2. Day 2

    Canberra to Beechworth to Wangaratta

    Start the day with panoramic views from Mt. Ainslie, then cross the Murray River into Victoria's High Country. The historic gold rush town of Beechworth is next, where you'll pop into the local pub for a chat and have afternoon tea at the oldest hotel there. Spend some time browsing through honey shops, gold shops, galleries and museums before heading to Wangaratta for the evening.

    Glenrowan to Melbourne

    Travel south through Ned Kelly country to the historic town of Glenrowan, where you'll learn about the famous bushranger and how he was captured there back in 1880. Later, reach Melbourne for a city tour and a guided gallery visit at the Koorie Heritage Trust located at Federation Square. The rest of the day is yours to wander the city's laneways, check out jazz bars, and find hidden restaurants on your own.

    This is your free day in Melbourne. Your Travel Director is on hand if you want help arranging things, but the choice is yours. Walk through the atmospheric laneways, try different coffee spots around the city, or pick from optional activities like Melbourne Skydeck at Eureka Tower, a History and Donuts Walking Tour, or a trip to Phillip Island to see the little penguins.

    Drive along the Great Ocean Road today, a 240-kilometre route that's considered one of the world's best coastal drives. You'll see dramatic limestone stacks, World Heritage rainforest, quiet coastal coves and small towns. Stop to see the Twelve Apostles, check out Loch Ard Gorge where a shipwreck happened, and view the London Bridge rock formations along the way.

    Start by driving through Tower Hill Wildlife Reserve, a dormant volcanic crater where you can spot emus and koalas in their natural setting. From there, cross into South Australia and visit Mt. Gambier's Blue Lake crater. Later, explore the Coonawarra wine region, then head to Alexandra Cave in Naracoorte to see the impressive stalactites and stone formations underground.

Then take the ferry over to Kangaroo Island, where you can spot sea lions, koalas and lots of different bird species. Finish the day arriving in Kingscote.

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
