- Day 1
Arrival in Antalya
You'll arrive in Antalya, the busy port city on Turkey's Mediterranean coast. Depending on when your flight lands, you'll have the rest of the day to get settled and explore the area at your own pace.

Perge to Konya
Your guide meets you in the morning and you'll head to Perge, an ancient Greek city with a well-preserved stadium and towers still standing. From there, you'll drive through the mountain passes of the Taurus Mountains to reach Konya. Once you arrive, you'll check out St. Paul's Church, the Alaeddin Mosque, and the Mevlana Monastery, which holds the sarcophagus of the Persian mystic Rumi. After that, you'll walk through a local market and talk with traders about their goods.

Sultanhani to Ihlara Valley
You'll start at the Seljuk caravanserais of Sultanhani where there's time to have tea and cookies. Then you're heading to the Ihlara Valley, sometimes called Turkey's 'Grand Canyon'. This dramatic valley drops more than 100 meters deep and stretches 14 kilometers long. You'll walk along the Melendiz River through the valley and visit two churches with ancient paintings inside.

- Day 4
Derinkuyu to Göreme Valley
Today you'll go underground into Derinkuyu, one of the largest underground cities with up to eight levels that people used as a refuge with escape routes built throughout. You'll descend into the corridors and rooms to see how they were designed. Next, you'll stop at Taubental to photograph the castle rock. Later you'll head to Göreme Valley with its UNESCO-protected rock churches, impressive frescoes, stone-carved homes, and monasteries. You'll hike through the Red Valley on your way to Cavusin.

Pasabag, Avanos, Sinasos and Wine Tasting
You'll visit Pasabag village to see the unusual fairy chimneys with their strange rock formations. You'll tour a traditional carpet weaving workshop and learn how artisans create these pieces using ancient techniques. After that, you'll explore the villages of Avanos on the Red River and Sinasos. You'll also do a wine tasting at one of the famous cave wineries here, where local Cappadocian wines age directly inside the tufa caves.

Aspendos to Antalya
You'll drive back across the Taurus Mountains toward the Mediterranean coast. You'll stop at Aspendos to see its remarkable excavations, including an impressive theater and well-preserved aqueducts. By evening, you'll arrive in Antalya, which marks the end of this leg of your journey.

Antalya
You'll walk around Antalya and see Hadrian's Gate and the surrounding area. Later you'll go to the Karpuz Kaldiran waterfalls. You'll finish the day at a local market where you can walk through typical stalls and shops, with opportunities to check out jewelry and leather factories.
