Flight to Cape Town
Your evening starts with a flight to Cape Town, South Africa's mother city. You'll arrive after dark, so settle in for the journey ahead.

Cape Town Arrival & Welcome
After landing, your driver picks you up at the airport and takes you to the hotel. Once you've checked in, you can either relax for the rest of the day or head out to the beach promenade and explore. The Victoria & Alfred Waterfront works well if you want restaurants and shops nearby. Later in the evening, join your tour guide for a welcome drink on the hotel terrace.

Cape Town City Tour & Table Mountain
A guided city tour takes you through Cape Town's highlights. You'll start at the South Africa Museum, then walk through the colorful Bo-Kaap district. Stop by a traditional spice store to try local flavors and visit a coffee roastery in Woodstock. If the weather cooperates, you'll take the cable car up Table Mountain for views over the city and Table Bay.

Cape of Good Hope & Penguin Colony
Today is yours to spend as you like around Cape Town. Stroll through St. Georges pedestrian zone and Greenmarket Square at your own pace. You can also take an optional trip along Chapman's Peak Drive to the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Nature Reserve. Walk up to the lighthouse perched on 200-meter cliffs for panoramic views, then visit the penguin colony at Boulders Beach.

Wine Country & Contemporary Art
Move around Cape Town at your own pace. The Zeitz MOCAA Museum is worth checking out if you're interested in contemporary African art. Alternatively, you might join an optional wine tour through the Cape Dutch countryside, visiting Paarl and its Afrikaans language monument, then exploring Stellenbosch's historic center, the Rhenish Mission church, and local wine estates.

Cape Town to Mpumalanga
You'll fly from Cape Town to Johannesburg where a new guide meets you. From there, drive toward Mpumalanga province, stopping to visit the Ndebele tribe in the Witbank area. See their colorful clothing, beaded hoops, and geometric house paintings. Pass through Belfast and Lydenburg on your way to Ohrigstad. Finish the evening with a sundowner drink on the terrace.

Take the hotel bus to the airport for your flight from Johannesburg to Mauritius. You'll arrive on the island in the afternoon and drive to your hotel. The next few days are open, so you can explore the island's amenities at your own pace.
