Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Gdansk
You'll arrive in Gdansk by train or plane and head to your hotel from there. The rest of the day is yours to spend however you'd like, whether that's walking around and getting a feel for the city or just resting up after travel. Later in the evening, you'll meet your group for dinner to kick things off.

- Day 2
Gdansk City Tour
A guided tour takes you through Gdansk's Hanseatic heritage starting at the High Gate, then you'll walk along Langgasse and Long Market to see the Neptune Fountain and Artus Court. St. Mary's Church, which is the world's largest brick church, is next on the route, and you'll also see various architectural landmarks tied to the city's merchant history. After lunch, the afternoon is free for you to either relax at your hotel or visit places like the National Museum if you're interested.

Malbork - Olsztyn - Sensburg
You'll leave early for Malbork to see the massive red-brick Marienburg Castle, which served as one of Europe's most powerful medieval fortresses and housed the Teutonic Order. From there, you'll drive to Olsztyn where you can walk through the castle grounds and check out the busy old town market square. Before heading to Sensburg for the night, you'll stop by a café to try traditional Königsberg marzipan, a local specialty.

- Day 4
Swieta Lipka - Wolfsschanze - Sensburg
You'll travel through Masuria to reach Swieta Lipka (Heiligelinde), a famous pilgrimage site where you can see the baroque basilica and listen to a concert on the ornate organ there. After that, you're heading to Wolfsschanze near Ketrzyn, the former military headquarters where you'll walk through the moss-covered bunker ruins and see a memorial marking July 20, 1944. Back at your hotel later, you'll have a barbecue together if the weather cooperates.

Johannisburg Heath - Wojnowo - Nikolaiken
You'll spend the day in the Masuria landscape with its dense mixed forests, wild meadows, and clear lakes. You'll visit Johannisburg Heath, the largest forest area in former East Prussia, and walk around Wojnowo to see typical wooden houses, then stop at a monastery of the Old Believers. An easy hike lets you see the region up close, and by evening you'll finish in Nikolaiken.

Masuria to Gdansk via Warmia Region
Leaving Masuria behind, you'll head back toward Gdansk through the Warmia region. Heilsberg Castle, once home to Warmian bishops, is your first stop, then from there you'll go to Frauenburg to see the cathedral where Copernicus worked and was buried. You can climb the historic water tower at the cathedral's base for views over the Vistula Lagoon. By evening you'll return to Gdansk for a celebratory dinner that includes a traditional Goldwasser toast.
