    You'll arrive in Dubai and head to your hotel for check-in. There's a warm welcome waiting for you as you settle in after your journey.

    Start this morning by taking in views of Jumeirah Mosque and the ruler's palace. Then walk through the historic Bastakia quarter to see the traditional wind tower houses, then check out the souk and the iconic Burj Al Arab Hotel. After that, head to Palm Jumeirah Island to view Atlantis Resort and learn about local life at Sheikh Mohammed Center. You'll have a traditional lunch before heading to Dubai Shopping Mall next to Burj Khalifa, with an option to go up the observation deck on the 124th floor if you want.

    Dubai to Khasab

    Drive north through Sharjah, Ajman, and Ras al Khaimah toward the Omani border, then continue on a panoramic road overlooking the Persian Gulf to Khasab. This old trading town sits at the foot of the Hadjar Mountains on the Strait of Hormuz. Later, you'll explore Jebel Harim's mountain world in off-road vehicles, heading up around 2,000 meters through terraced villages and acacia forests with views over the Arabian Fjords of Musandam. Before returning to your hotel, stop at Khawr Najid for views over the Indian Ocean.

    Abu Dhabi to Al Ain

    Travel through the desert landscape toward Al Ain. You'll see Qasr Al Muwaijah, birthplace of the current UAE president, and the palace of late founding president Sheikh Zayed. Continue to the mountain village of Al Hamra where 400-year-old mud houses still have people living in them, with traditional Falaj irrigation systems still working. Have dinner at your hotel in Nizwa.
