- Day 1
Auckland
You'll arrive in Auckland and connect with your tour guide at the airport. After getting settled into your accommodation, there's a welcome gathering with your travel group this evening. If you've got energy left after travel, you can explore Auckland's nightlife or head up the iconic Sky Tower for views across the city and harbor.

Auckland
Following breakfast, you'll head out to Muriwai Regional Park on the west coast where black sand beaches and gannet colonies are the main draw. From there, the day moves through Auckland Museum, a walk through historic Parnell, then over to Mission Bay for the seaside atmosphere. You'll also check out the Auckland Viaduct before finishing at Sky Tower for panoramic harbor views, then head back to your accommodation.

Auckland to Rotorua
After breakfast you're traveling south through the Bombey Hills and Waikato region toward Waitomo. There you'll explore Foot Whistle Cave on a guided walk to see the glowworms, followed by time in a traditional Ponga hut where you can try Kawakawa tea. You'll grab lunch on your own, then continue on to Rotorua and check in. In the afternoon, Te Puia thermal reserve is next, where you'll see geysers and mud pools along with a traditional Maori cultural performance.

- Day 4
Rotorua to Auckland
Breakfast comes first, then you're heading to Waimangu Volcanic Valley to walk through the geothermal landscape that formed after Mount Tarawera's 1886 eruption. Later, the drive back to Auckland begins. Once you transfer to your hotel, the rest of the day is yours to spend however you'd like.
