- Day 1
Kilimanjaro to Arusha
You'll be picked up at Kilimanjaro Airport and driven to Legendary Lodge in Arusha, which takes about an hour. The lodge sits on a historic coffee plantation with tropical gardens on Mount Meru's foothills, so it's a peaceful spot to start. Spend the rest of the day settling in and checking out the grounds at whatever pace works for you.

Arusha to Burunge Wildlife Management Area
Breakfast comes at 7:30am, then you're transferred to Little Chem Chem Lodge in Burunge WMA (roughly 2 hours by car). The lodge is a luxury tented property with spacious suites that look out over palm-fringed plains. Get comfortable and take in the calm surroundings.

Landmarks/POIs Burunge Wildlife Management Area - Day 3
Burunge Wildlife Management Area
Your guide takes you out for the full day to explore the wildlife across the concession. You'll see elephant herds and plenty of other game, then visit a local Maasai village to learn about their culture and traditions. The whole experience has a slow, relaxed feel from sunrise through sunset.

- Day 4
Burunge Wildlife Management Area
Today you lean into the 'Slow Safari' approach. Sit in front of your tent and watch plains game roam the landscape. Later in the afternoon, head out for sundowners on the Sangaiwe plains, then return for dinner.

Burunge to Western Serengeti
After breakfast at 7:00am, you're driven to Manyara Airport for a flight to the remote Nyasirori region in the Serengeti's western corridor. You land at Mila Tented Camp, set down your things, and settle into a comfortable tent surrounded by rolling savannahs and African sunsets.

Landmarks/POIs Serengeti National Park - Day 6
Western Serengeti
Get out with your dedicated guide and explore the wilderness around Mila Tented Camp. This area is known for year-round wildlife and some of Tanzania's biggest lion prides. You can move through the landscape on your own terms while staying in your vehicle.

Western Serengeti
Another wildlife expedition happens today, and you'll eat a picnic breakfast or lunch somewhere out on the plains. Head to the Grumeti River to see some of Africa's largest crocodiles. You're free to explore the wilderness however you like.

Western Serengeti to Kilimanjaro
Do one final game drive on your way to Grimenti Airstrip. Fly back to Arusha where you can grab lunch on your own (at your own cost), then it's a 90 minute drive to Kilimanjaro Airport. If you want, extensions to Zanzibar can be set up before you leave.
