Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech to Essaouira
You'll arrange a transfer from Marrakech airport or your hotel to the Supratours bus terminal for a three-hour public bus journey to Essaouira, with a brief stop en route. When you arrive, your guide meets you and your luggage gets transported by cart through the old medina to your riad. If timing works out and you get there early, there's time to wander around the relaxed coastal town, check out the craft shops, and grab something from the food stalls.

- Day 2
Essaouira
At 10am your local guide arrives to lead a two to three hour orientation tour. You'll walk the ramparts with their sea-facing cannons, move through the medina, and visit the Mellah, the old Jewish Quarter where silversmiths work in their shops. The rest of your day opens up after that. Spend it however feels right, whether that's wandering the medina streets filled with craftspeople and galleries, relaxing on the beach, or heading to the port to watch fishermen bring in their catch.

Essaouira
Your morning is free to spend as you like, taking in the Atlantic breeze and the long beach, visiting the port, browsing the medina, or checking out art galleries and craft workshops around town. In the afternoon you'll do a cookery class where you prepare a three-course meal using fresh ingredients you'll shop for, then sit down and eat what you've made together.

Essaouira to Marrakech
After breakfast you check out at 11:00am and your luggage gets carted over to the bus station. Then you board the included Supratours bus back to Marrakech, choosing from departure times at 07:00, 09:15, 11:15, 14:15, 15:30, 17:00, or 18:15 (though these can shift). If you pick a later bus, you can leave your luggage at the riad and have the morning to explore more. Once you reach Marrakech, you'll get a transfer to the airport or your centrally located hotel.
