- Day 1
Jomo Kenyatta Airport to Amboseli National Park
You'll get picked up from Jomo Kenyatta Airport and head straight to Amboseli National Park. After grabbing lunch at the camp, there's an afternoon game drive waiting for you through acacia woodland and open plains. That's when you'll have chances to see cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, and wildebeest before heading back as the sun sets.

Amboseli National Park
Today you've got flexibility. Either spend the full day in the marshlands with a packed lunch, or take an early morning game drive followed by breakfast, then rest during the heat and head back out around 4 pm. Either way, black rhinos, hippos, and various bird species are on the lookout list.

Amboseli National Park to Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, you'll drive from Amboseli toward Nairobi with a lunch stop at either Tamarind Brasserie or Carnivore Restaurant. From there, head west to the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for photos of Mount Longonot and Mount Suswa. You'll arrive at your Lake Naivasha hotel late afternoon and can relax by the pool or check out the giraffes, hippos, and birds around camp.

Lake Naivasha - Lake Nakuru National Park
Start the morning at Hell's Gate National Park where you can cycle, walk, or hike if you want (bicycles are available to rent). Then you'll take a boat ride on Lake Naivasha and visit Crescent Island Game Sanctuary for some close wildlife photos. Lunch happens at a nearby hotel, then it's off to Lake Nakuru National Park. You might also swing by Lake Elementaita if you're interested in seeing flamingos before arriving at your lodge late afternoon.

Lake Nakuru National Park to Masai Mara National Reserve
Head out early for a game drive in Lake Nakuru where flamingos, black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, and Rothschild's giraffes are common sightings, especially around the southern end and forested area below Rhinos Cliff. You'll return for lunch at the lodge, then drive through the Rift Valley floor toward Masai Mara National Reserve. Once you arrive, Maasai warriors will escort you to a nearby village where you'll learn about their traditional way of life alongside the wildlife.

Masai Mara National Reserve
You'll spend the full day exploring Mara's tree-studded grassland and rolling hills on a game-viewing tour. The search is on for vast herds, leopards, cheetahs, lions, and basically every other wildlife species in Kenya. Lunch happens under a flat-top acacia tree while animals graze around you, then exploring continues before you head back to camp late afternoon.

After breakfast, you'll drive back to Nairobi with a stop at Narok Town to experience the market atmosphere and chat with locals. Lunch comes at a local hotel, then continue on to Nairobi, arriving mid-afternoon. Your safari wraps up with hotel or airport drop-off, and you can time your departure based on your flight.
