- Day 1
Medina
You'll arrive in Medina and head to your hotel for lunch. After settling in, you'll spend the afternoon at the Prophet's Mosque, where you can see the 10 minarets and walk around the sacred sites like Mount Uhud, Quba Mosque, and the Well of Ethiq. The Al Madinah Museum gives you more context on the area's history. Return to the mosque as evening falls to catch prayer time, then dinner wraps up your day.

- Day 2
Al-Ula
Your day takes you through desert landscapes to Khaybar, where a 7th century Jewish settlement stands alongside the historic 628 AD battle site. You'll check out the fortress and oasis there. From Khaybar, you'll continue into the Al-Ula region with its rock formations and canyons, including Elephant Rock, a 52-meter-high formation that really does resemble an elephant. Dinner's included after a full day of travel.

Al-Ula
You'll explore HEGRA (Madain Saleh), a UNESCO site showcasing Nabataean tombs carved directly into the rock across a desert setting. Often called 'the Other Petra,' the archaeological treasures here are worth the time. Lunch comes during your visit, and you'll have free time to walk through the commercial streets and see the oasis. In the afternoon, you'll head toward Tabuk with dinner included when you arrive.

- Day 4
Tabuk
The day starts with travel through desert toward the Saudi Arabia border at Halat Ammar. You'll stop at a local farm to see crops and flowers that get exported to Europe. Tabuk itself is a provincial capital with over half a million people. Once there, you'll tour the old train station (now a museum), the castle that dates back 3500 years with its own museum, and the Mud House Museum showing traditional adobe architecture. Walking through the active city center rounds out the day.

- Day 5
Wadi Rum
This is your Petra day. You'll go through a narrow canyon to reach the city, where temples and tombs are carved into the cliffs from a settlement founded 300 years before Christ. After lunch, you'll head into Wadi Rum by 4x4 vehicle for a 45-minute camel ride and visit Khazali Canyon to see engravings that reveal early Arabic language origins. You'll sleep in a desert camp with dinner provided.

Saint Catherine
After breakfast, you'll travel to Aqaba on the Red Sea coast. You'll walk through the city center, then cross into Israel to reach Eilat, a modern resort city with good beaches where you can relax, have lunch, and swim if you want. Later you'll continue to the Egypt border into Sinai, passing Pharaoh's Island and Saladin's fortress for photos along the way. You'll reach Saint Catherine with accommodation and dinner waiting.

- Day 7
Cairo
You'll visit the walled monastery of Saint Catherine at the base of Mount Sinai, a UNESCO site sacred to Jews, Christians, and Muslims. This is the place where Moses reportedly saw the Burning Bush. You'll travel through Sinai Desert's scenic landscape, stopping for lunch at the Well of Moses, a biblical site that looks like a small oasis. Later you'll head through the tunnel under the Suez Canal and arrive in Cairo by late afternoon.

Cairo
Cairo gets a full day of exploration. You'll see the Pyramids of Cheops, Kefren, and Micerinos, along with the Sphinx carved from rock. The Egyptian Museum holds ancient treasures, including pieces from Tutankhamen's tomb. Lunch breaks up the day. You'll also tour the Citadel of Saladin and the Alabaster Mosque, then walk through the Coptic neighborhood to visit the Hanging Church, which sits above a Roman fortress.

- Day 9
Alexandria
You'll travel to the Wadi Natrum region, known for Coptic monasteries dating to the 4th century when Christians fled Roman persecution. Saint Macarius Monastery (founded 360 AD) and Anba Bishoy Monastery (founded 340 AD) are on your list, and you'll get a monk guide at the first one. The second monastery is accessed by drawbridge, and you'll see the church, refectory, and fortress where several Coptic Popes are buried. After that, you'll head to Alexandria, a port city with over 5 million people. Lunch is included, and you'll visit the Qaitbey Fortress built in 1480 on a peninsula where the famous Hellenistic lighthouse once stood. You'll drive along the cornice with some free time, and accommodation is included.

- Day 10
Rosetta - Cairo
Alexandria exploration continues with the Kom Ash Shuqqafa Catacombs, the largest Roman cemetery in Egypt and a blend of Pharaonic and Greco-Roman styles. You'll walk through narrow commercial alleys to the 30-meter Column of Pompey rising from old temple ruins. The modern Library of Alexandria (opened 2002) is next, built where the ancient library once housed over half a million papyrus texts. After lunch, you'll travel to Rosetta where the famous Rosetta Stone was found. You'll tour the fortress of Rashid in a fishing village, explore Ottoman architecture, and take a Nile boat trip to see fishing boats. You'll get back to Cairo by day's end.
