You'll board at 6:00 p.m. and get settled into your cabin. After meeting the crew at a welcome cocktail, the ship heads towards Mainz for your first night on the water.

Mainz to Frankfurt
The ship arrives in Mainz early morning, and you'll tour the city with an escort to see the thousand-year-old cathedral where the Rhine and Main rivers meet. You'll sail towards Frankfurt in the morning, then have the afternoon free for optional sightseeing tours that include the Main Tower with views across the city.

Miltenberg to Wertheim
Early morning stops in Miltenberg let you walk through the town and check out its market square with half-timbered houses, the main street, Hotel Reisen, and the old Town Hall. After lunch on board, you'll head to Wertheim for free time to explore before returning to the ship for dinner.

Karlstadt to Schweinfurt
The ship cruises towards Karlstadt, then you can join an optional tour to Würzburg to see the famous baroque palace where the prince-bishops lived. You'll rejoin the ship in the late afternoon and continue to Schweinfurt, where evening entertainment happens on board.

Schweinfurt to Bamberg
Morning brings cruising along the Main, and you'll have the option to take an excursion to Rothenburg, a walled town on the hills above the river with narrow streets and half-timbered houses. After returning to the ship, you'll continue sailing towards Bamberg.

Rhine-Main-Danube Canal to Nürnberg
You'll cruise the Rhine-Main-Danube canal and have lunch on board before arriving in Nürnberg early afternoon. An optional tour takes you to see monuments outside the medieval walls and then through the old town to see the Schöner Brunnen and Frauenkirche, with time to try Lebkuchen gingerbread. You'll return to the ship in the afternoon and sail to Mühlsdorf, with evening entertainment on board.

Passau to Vienna
Early morning cruising takes you to Melk, where an optional excursion visits the abbey on its rocky perch overlooking the Danube. You'll return to the ship and sail to Dürnstein, arriving around noon for lunch. After exploring the village and its baroque church, you'll sail to Vienna in the afternoon. An optional evening excursion shows the city's illuminated sights.

Free time in Esztergom lets you visit this former Hungarian capital and see the neo-classical basilica and Royal palace on your own. The ship sails around noon, and after lunch on board, you'll arrive in Budapest mid-afternoon. You'll have free time to explore this 'Pearl of the Danube' before dinner. An optional evening tour shows Budapest by night.

Budapest
A guided tour shows you Budapest along the Danube with its Baroque, Neoclassical, and Art Nouveau architecture, with views of Parliament and the hills of Buda across the plains of Pest. In the afternoon, you can either have free time or visit the Széchenyi Baths (indoor and outdoor pools with saunas) or the Budapest Market Halls with their Zsolnay tile roof and Hungarian specialties. An optional folklore evening features traditional Gypsy dances.
