You'll arrive in Vienna and meet up with your Trip Manager and the rest of the group at your accommodation. Dinner tonight gives everyone a chance to get acquainted and start figuring out who you'll be traveling with for the next couple weeks.

- Day 2
Vienna to Krakow
Head into Poland today, crossing the border from Vienna. You'll visit the Auschwitz and Birkenau concentration camp memorials, which is a heavy but important part of understanding European history. After that, continue on to Krakow and settle in for the evening.

- Day 3
Krakow
Start with an orientation tour that covers Krakow's best beer spots and historical sites. Then you've got free time to wander the UNESCO-listed old town center, check out the Jewish Quarter, and walk around Wawel Castle. Try some traditional Polish food while you're exploring.

Krakow to Budapest
Leave Krakow and drive through the Alps and small villages in Slovakia. You'll stop in Banska Bystrica for lunch, which is a pretty little town with pastel buildings everywhere. Later you'll arrive in Budapest, and there's an optional river cruise and dinner if you want to get out on the water.

Budapest
Take the day to explore Budapest on your own schedule. You could relax in the Széchenyi thermal baths, which are huge and really popular, or head out to Margaret Island to see the gardens and walk around the fountains and old ruins there.

Budapest to Ljubljana
Travel south from Budapest toward Slovenia. You'll stop at Lake Bled, this beautiful alpine lake where you can jump in for a swim if you want and take photos. Keep going to Ljubljana, which has this laid-back, young vibe and feels less touristy than a lot of European cities. Spend the rest of the day checking it out.

Ljubljana to Venice
Head to Venice today, the city built on water in northern Italy. You'll get a private motoscafo ride through the lagoon to see how the city actually works, then walk through the gothic architecture and narrow lanes that make Venice so different from anywhere else.

Venice to Rome
Travel to Rome this afternoon and jump right into exploring. Check out some of the ancient monuments and Italian icons, grab some gelato and pizza, and just soak in the Roman atmosphere. There's an optional pasta making class for dinner or a night tour if you want to see Rome lit up.

Rome
Dedicate your full day to Rome's major sights. See the Colosseum, throw coins into the fountains, find a café for espresso, and just walk around taking in all the history and energy of the city.

Rome to Florence
Head out of Rome through Tuscany today. Stop in Pisa to get your photo with the Leaning Tower, then continue to Florence. Once there, wander along the River Arno, try some Chianti wine from the region, and see the Duomo Cathedral with its distinctive dome.

Florence

Florence to Swiss Alps
Leave Florence and head toward the Swiss Alps. You'll swing through Pisa one more time for photos, then drive up into the mountains. By evening you'll be surrounded by snowcapped peaks in an alpine village that feels straight out of a storybook.

Swiss Alps
