    Ho Chi Minh City

    Your driver meets you when you land in Ho Chi Minh City and takes you to your hotel. Once you get settled in, spend the rest of the day relaxing and preparing for what's ahead.

    Cu Chi Tunnel and War Remnants Museum

    After breakfast, you'll head out to Cu Chi Tunnel, an underground complex from the Vietnam War where you can see hidden entrances, various trap types, and bomb craters left behind. Back in Ho Chi Minh City by afternoon, check out the War Remnants Museum and walk through the French colonial architecture including Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Central Post Office.

    Ninh Binh and Trang An

    After breakfast, head to Ninh Binh, Vietnam's first capital in the 10th century. Visit Hoa Lu, the site of the ancient Dai Co Viet capital (968-1009), and explore both the King Dinh Temple and King Le Temple. You'll grab lunch at a local restaurant, then take a boat trip through Trang An grottoes with 31 valleys and 50 cross-water caves surrounded by forested mountains.
