Venice Arrival
You'll land at Venice Marco Polo International Airport and head straight to your ship. After settling into your cabin and unpacking, the evening is yours to relax on deck while the ship sits in the Venetian Lagoon.

Venice
Head to Doge's Palace early before the crowds build up, then take some time wandering through a traditional Venetian neighborhood to see how locals actually live. Later, you'll get exclusive access for a private after-hours lighting ceremony inside St. Mark's Basilica, which is something most visitors never experience.

Burano
Start the morning in either Vicenza or Padua (you'll choose one), both UNESCO World Heritage cities in the Veneto region. The ship sails across the lagoon toward Mazzorbo and Burano in the afternoon. By evening, you'll stroll through Burano at your own pace, checking out the brightly painted fishermen's cottages after most tourists have headed back.

Northern Lagoon Islands
You'll explore the northern lagoon islands with a guided visit to Torcello's basilica led by an art historian. After lunch, there's free time to wander through Mazzorbo and Burano, or if you prefer, you can head to Murano instead to watch glassblowing artisans working at their furnaces.

Chioggia
The day takes you to the coastal city of Chioggia where you'll see the main sights and walk through the local market. From there, pick one optional activity: take a traditional bragozzo boat ride with tastings, explore more markets, bike around the area, visit a country villa for wine, or tour Palazzo Goldoni.

You'll sail out on an excursion to the Po Delta where the Po River meets the Adriatic Sea. During lunch, the ship heads back toward Venice. You can choose between continuing with the sailing experience or visiting Castello del Catajo instead.

Venice
Your water taxi winds through narrow side canals and along the Canal Grande, passing under the iconic Rialto Bridge. This stone arch sits at the narrowest point of the canal and connects two neighborhoods packed with shops and restaurants. You've got optional activities to choose from: local walking tours, visits to gondola artisans, mask ateliers, or rowing experiences.

Venice to Rome
You'll leave the ship this morning and take a train to Rome. Check into the Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome (or similar hotel). If you're interested, join a local host for an orientation walk around your neighborhood to get familiar with the area.
