- Day 1
Siem Reap
Your English-speaking guide meets you at Siem Reap International Airport to brief you on what's coming. From there, you'll head to Kampong Khleang, a lakeside village where stilt houses line the water. A boat cruise takes you through the canals and across the lake, and you'll have a picnic lunch with some of the villagers. Afterward, spend time walking through the village to get a feel for daily life there. By late afternoon, you're back in Siem Reap city centre.

Angkor Archaeological Park
This morning starts with a tuk-tuk ride to Preah Khan Temple, where you'll check out the intricate doorways and sculptures. Next, you go to Ta Prohm Temple, which has this interesting mix of nature growing through the architecture. After lunch, head to Angkor Thom, the old royal city with its impressive fortifications. From there, tour Bayon Temple with those distinctive carved faces, then move on to Baphuon and Phimeanakas temples. You'll finish up at the Terrace of the Elephants as the day winds down.

Banteay Samre and Banteay Srei Temples
You'll drive through the Cambodian countryside past traditional villages and coconut palms. Your first stop is Banteay Samre Temple, an ancient Hindu site dating back to the Angkor Wat era. Continue on to Banteay Srei Temple, known for its pink sandstone carvings and detailed stonework. Along the way, you'll learn how locals produce palm sugar from the Thnot palm, which gives some insight into rural life in the region.

Siem Reap
