Itinerary
- Day 1
Delhi
You'll arrive at Delhi International Airport and get transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to settle in and get comfortable. Delhi mixes ancient heritage from the 4th century with modern culture, so you'll notice the diverse traditions and different nationalities throughout the city once you start exploring.

Delhi to Agra
After breakfast, start in Old Delhi at Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque, then take a rickshaw through the colorful narrow alleys of Chandni Chowk bazaar to reach Red Fort. You'll visit Rajghat where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, pass by Rashtrapati Bhawan and India Gate, then see the beautiful Humayun Tomb with its Persian-inspired garden squares. Later, drive to Agra for the night.

Agra
After breakfast, explore Agra on the Yamuna River, once the capital of the Mughal Emperors from 1526 to 1628. You'll check out Agra Fort and its grand halls including Diwan-i-Aam, Diwan-i-Khas, and Sheesh Mahal. In the evening, you'll see the Taj Mahal, the ivory-white marble monument Emperor Shahjahan built over 22 years for his wife. Watch how it shifts color as light changes: pinkish in morning, milky white in evening, golden under moonlight.

Agra to Ranthambore
Stop at Fatehpur Sikri on the way, grab lunch at a local restaurant, then drive to Ranthambore. This 16th-century town was established by Mughal Emperor Akbar and shows off impressive Mughal architecture. The Buland Darwaza gateway here is reportedly the highest in the world.

Ranthambore
You'll head out on an early morning safari through Ranthambore National Park to spot tigers, leopards, jackals, gazelles, and boars around the lake. After returning to the hotel for breakfast and rest, you'll head out again in the afternoon for an evening safari to continue exploring this wildlife sanctuary.

Ranthambore to Jaipur
After breakfast, drive to Jaipur, known as the Pink City for its pink sandstone buildings. Once you check in, the rest of the day is free. The city shows multiple architectural styles and has vibrant bazaars selling traditional handicrafts and jewelry that reflect the rich lifestyle of Rajput Kings.

Jaipur
After breakfast, start with the 16th-century Amber Fort, which has private halls and royal chambers with nice views reflected in Maota Lake, and you'll get to ride an elephant here. Then visit the City Palace complex with its former chambers and courtyards, then Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory with the world's largest sundial. See the distinctive Hawa Mahal palace with its 953 intricately-designed windows. The afternoon is free to browse markets for textiles, gems, carpets, and handicrafts.

In the morning, transfer to Jaipur airport for a domestic flight to Varanasi. After you arrive, get transferred to your hotel and check in.

Varanasi
Start early with a boat ride on the sacred River Ganges to catch the sunrise, then return to the hotel for breakfast. Head to Sarnath, a significant Buddhist pilgrimage site, then visit the New Vishwanath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva within Banaras Hindu University, which took 35 years to build. Visit the Tulsi Manas Temple, see the nearby Durga Temple dedicated to Goddess Durga. By evening, watch the spectacular Ganga Aarti ceremony at Dashashwamedh Ghat.

Cochin
Start exploring Cochin's historic landmarks with the Dutch Palace, built by the Portuguese in 1557 and later renovated by the Dutch after 1663, which has some of the best murals in India. Visit the Jewish Synagogue at Mattancherry, built in 1568 and the oldest in the Commonwealth. See St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India from 1510. Check out the famous Chinese Fishing Nets introduced by Kublai Khan's court and walk Fort Cochin Beach. Return to the hotel in the evening.

Cochin to Alleppey
Check out and drive to Alleppey to board a deluxe houseboat around noon. Spend the day relaxing while cruising through Kerala's backwaters. You'll cruise past village sides and paddy fields, seeing how Kerala villages live. The houseboat has bedrooms and a kitchen. Dinner and overnight stay are on the houseboat.
