- Day 1
Arrival at Liberia
After landing at Liberia Airport, you'll get a group transfer to your lodge near Rincón de la Vieja National Park, which takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you're settled in, there's a welcome meeting where you'll meet your CEO and the other travelers. Dinner happens at the lodge restaurant, and then you head out on a guided night walk to look for nocturnal wildlife in the area.

- Day 2
Rincón de la Vieja National Park
You'll start with breakfast before heading into Rincón de la Vieja National Park for a guided hike. The landscape mixes tropical forest with volcanic terrain, and the guide will help you spot wildlife as you walk. Back at the lodge by afternoon, you have free time to either relax or try optional activities like ziplining, more hiking, or cultural experiences available on the property.

Rincón de la Vieja Free Day
This day is entirely free in the Rincón de la Vieja area, so you can go either direction. Some people prefer relaxing with spa treatments and soaking in the hot springs, while others stay active with hiking and bird watching. If you're looking for something more intense, the Jungle Waterslide is available as an optional activity that needs to be booked in advance.

Landmarks Rincón de la Vieja National Park - Day 4
Rincón de la Vieja to Playa Flamingo
After breakfast, you'll travel to Playa Flamingo on the northern Pacific coast, about a 2-hour drive from the lodge. When you arrive, there's a CEO-led orientation walk through the beach town, which has an interesting layout with a pristine beach protected by a large mangrove forest. Your evening is free to explore at your own pace.

Landmarks Playa Flamingo - Day 5
Playa Flamingo
You have the full day free in Playa Flamingo. The beach is right there if you want to swim and sunbathe, or you can arrange a catamaran excursion in advance to see the area from the water. It's a nice option if you want to get out on the ocean.

Departure
Your tour ends today in Playa Flamingo, and you can leave whenever works for you. Taxi and shuttle services will take you to the nearby town of Potrero (about 10 minutes away), and from there it's roughly an hour drive to Liberia Airport.
