- Day 1
Tokyo to Mount Fuji
You'll meet your group at 7:45 am in Tokyo, then head out by local train, bullet train, and bus toward Mount Fuji. The hike takes you up the flower-covered slopes with views across Suruga Bay and Sagami Bay. By afternoon you'll reach the mountain hut at 2,700 m elevation/8,860 ft, where dinner and your overnight stay await on the slopes.

- Day 2
Mount Fuji Summit
Rise around 12:30 am for an early breakfast, then start the trek at 1:00 am to summit Mount Fuji's 3,776 m peak in time for sunrise. After soaking in the views and taking photos, you'll descend to the 5th Station for lunch. Later you'll transfer back to Tokyo with the evening free to rest or wander through Japan's largest city.

Tokyo
Your CEO leads a guided tour through Tokyo's main spots including Asakusa Sensoji Temple, the Asakusa neighborhood, and Nakamise shopping street, plus the historic Meiji Shrine. The afternoon is yours to explore independently. Consider checking out Akihabara, Harajuku, or spending time in Ueno Park's green space.

Tokyo to Hokkaido
Head to the airport in the morning and fly to Memanbetsu airport in Hokkaido. From there you'll transfer to your hotel outside Shiretoko National Park. Later you'll gather for dinner with your CEO and travel mates.

Shiretoko National Park
After breakfast you'll head to Shiretoko National Park's Five Lakes area, where five crater lakes were formed by Mount Lo's volcanic eruption. Mountain and wilderness views fill the morning. In the afternoon take a short walk to Furepe Waterfall, which drops right into the Okhotsk Sea.

Shiretoko Primeval Forest
Another morning in the UNESCO World Heritage Shiretoko Peninsula brings a guided three to four hour hike through the Primeval Forest. Watch for Steller's sea eagles, Japanese deer, and dramatic cliffs overlooking turquoise sea. The afternoon is yours to relax at the hotel's hot spring facilities or walk about 20 minutes to explore the village.

Lake Akan & Ainu Cultural Experience
You'll leave Shiretoko and travel inland toward Lake Akan. Stop to see active volcano Mt Lo inside the Kussharo caldera with sulfurous smoke and steam rising. Later dig your own personal hot spring in Lake Kussharo's sandy beach. Check out an observatory deck for views of both Lake Kussharo and Lake Mashu before checking into your Ryokan. After dinner, catch Akan Yukar Lost Kamuy, a cultural performance honoring local Ainu people with ancient ceremonial dance, contemporary movement, and digital art.

Lake Akan to Asahikawa
The morning is relaxed at the Ryokan where you can soak in the hot springs again or join your CEO for a walk around Lake Akan. Then travel toward Asahikawa. Save room at dinner tonight for the famous Asahikawa ramen, considered one of the best in Japan.

Daisetsuzan Asahidake
Get an early start and lace up your hiking boots. Head to Daisetsuzan Asahidake Ropeway and take the ten minute gondola ride up to where the walk begins. Spend a couple of hours on foot exploring, hoping the fog clears enough to catch glimpses of the surrounding mountain ranges.

Sapporo

Sapporo
Get to know Sapporo, home of the world famous beer. After that head to the Sapporo Beer Museum, site of Japan's first beer, and sample varieties only found at this location.

Kurama to Kibune Hike
Start your Kyoto exploration with a hike from Kurama village to Kibune, two villages marking the beginning and end of the trail. You'll wind through the canopied forest, passing Yuki shrine and Kurama-dera temple along the way.

Yanbaru Forest & Sea Kayaking
You'll do a guided walk through Yanbaru Forest on the Ibe-dake Forest Trail Trek, spotting native plants and animals. After a picnic lunch you'll head to the seaside for a guided sea kayaking excursion to Yasuda island with your local guide. After a full day you'll gather for dinner together.

Sabani Boat & Snorkeling
In the Hirakubo Peninsula north of Ishigaki, board a Sabani, the traditional Okinawan sailboat hand carved from hollowed logs. Cruise the peninsula shores and hop into the water to snorkel over coral reefs or just take in the untouched environment. Each boat holds only 6 people, giving you a rare chance to experience Okinawan cultural heritage.

Taketomi Island Cycling
Just off Ishigaki Port is Taketomi Island, part of Iriomote-Ishigaki National Park and surrounded by coral reef. The island features coral walls and structures creating unique architecture within Japan. Explore the central Ryukyu village with red tiled roofs and tropical flowers by bicycle to cover as much ground as possible.

Iriomote Island Kayaking
