Itinerary
- Day 1
Phnom Penh to Pursat
Start your journey by leaving Phnom Penh and heading west toward Pursat along a mix of paved roads and dirt trails that cut through rural rice paddies. You'll stop at Kampong Luong Floating Village on Tonle Sap Lake to see how the local community lives and fishes on the water. In the afternoon, check out Pursat's marble quarries before settling in at a local guesthouse for the night.

- Day 2
Pursat to Battambang
Continue westward on off-road jungle trails and through scenic rice fields, passing through traditional villages where you can meet locals and get a sense of everyday life here. Once you reach Battambang, spend time looking at the French colonial buildings around town. The famous Bamboo Train is a quirky experience worth trying, and you shouldn't miss Phnom Sampeau Caves for the views out over the plains. End the day at a riverside guesthouse.

Battambang to Pailin
Ride south through the mountains on challenging off-road trails toward Pailin near the Thai border, navigating winding mountain roads and rugged dirt paths. The jungle and hill views along the way are really something. You'll get a look at small-scale gem mining operations and find waterfalls and dense forests that are good for hiking around. Spend the night at a mountain guesthouse.

- Day 4
Pailin to Koh Kong
Head south toward Koh Kong through the Cardamom Mountains on off-road tracks, riding through dense forests, steep hills, and past winding rivers. This stretch showcases some of Cambodia's most beautiful terrain. Once in Koh Kong, you can explore Tatai Waterfall, take a boat through mangrove forests, or visit local fishing communities. A riverside guesthouse is waiting for you at the end of the day.

Koh Kong to Phnom Penh
On your final day, head back to Phnom Penh by riding along coastal roads and dirt trails around the edge of the Cardamom Mountains, taking in the landscape views as you go. You'll arrive in the capital in the late afternoon, wrapping up your five-day off-road adventure that took you through mountains, rivers, jungles, and rural communities.
