Siem Reap to Preah Vihear
Your motorbike adventure kicks off in Siem Reap heading north toward the Thai border on dirt roads and backroads that wind through small villages and farmlands. The riding gets tougher as you climb higher on steep grades and muddy trails, all leading to Preah Vihear Temple, which sits on a cliff edge as a UNESCO World Heritage Site with views stretching across Cambodia and into Thailand. After you finish exploring the temple complex, you'll settle into a nearby guesthouse for the night.

- Day 2
Preah Vihear to Stung Treng
This morning you head east toward Stung Treng through dense forests on remote dirt tracks and forest trails. The route brings you to the Mekong River and its wetlands, passing fishing villages where you can stop and talk with locals about how they've lived and worked for generations. By afternoon you arrive in Stung Treng to check out local markets and spend time along the riverside.

- Day 3
Stung Treng to Kratie
Today's route takes you south along the Mekong River toward Kratie, and the riding is easier than the previous days with nice views of the river and surrounding countryside. You'll stop at the Irrawaddy dolphin sanctuary to see rare freshwater dolphins in their natural setting, then continue into Kratie where you can walk through French colonial buildings and local markets. After spending the evening by the river, you head to your guesthouse.

Kratie to Kampong Cham
From here you ride south to Kampong Cham on a mix of paved roads and dirt trails. Along the way you'll visit local temples and pagodas to learn about Cambodian spiritual traditions, riding through farmland and villages to see how people actually live out here. Once in Kampong Cham, you can explore the riverside promenade and check out the iconic bamboo bridge, a yearly structure that local residents rebuild by hand.

Kampong Cham to Siem Reap
On your final day, you ride back to Siem Reap taking a different route through varied landscapes, backroads, and dirt trails that pass through small villages and rural countryside. You'll have time to think back on everything from the ancient temples at Preah Vihear to the quiet Mekong River, and you'll roll into Siem Reap in the late afternoon where your off-road motorcycle tour ends.
