Itinerary
- Day 1
Siem Reap to Preah Vihear
You'll start your motorcycle adventure in Siem Reap and head north on dirt trails through rice paddies and remote villages. The route takes you past stilt houses and water buffaloes as you navigate rural landscapes toward the Dangrek Mountains. Once you reach higher elevation, you'll ride to Preah Vihear Temple, an ancient Khmer structure sitting on a cliff with views across the countryside. By evening, you'll settle into a guesthouse and have a traditional Khmer meal to end the first day.

Landmarks/POIs Preah Vihear Temple - Day 2
Preah Vihear to Tbeng Meanchey
After breakfast, you'll ride south on challenging dirt roads and narrow winding trails through dense forests and remote areas. The terrain gets technical here, so you'll need to focus on your off-road skills as you move through the Cambodian countryside. Later in the day, you'll reach Tbeng Meanchey, a gateway town to Preah Vihear Province. Once there, you can walk through local markets to see how people trade crafts and goods, then head to your guesthouse for the night.

Tbeng Meanchey to Kampong Thom
You'll continue riding south through green landscapes and small villages on a mix of dirt trails and backroads. Along the way, you'll stop at local pagodas to watch monks and see how village life works. The route passes through palm tree and banana plantations before you reach Sambor Prei Kuk, a pre-Angkorian temple complex sitting in the forest. Exploring the ancient ruins here gives you a quieter look at Cambodia's history compared to the more crowded sites, and you'll have time to walk around and take in the setting.

Kampong Thom to Siem Reap
On your final day, you'll ride back to Siem Reap through varied terrain including open fields and dense forests on both paved roads and dirt trails. You'll pass through rural villages where traditional ox carts and roosters set the rhythm of daily life. The ride home gives you time to think back on the landscapes you've seen, the people you've met, and the hospitality shown throughout the four days. You'll arrive back in the city with plenty of stories from your motorcycle tour.
