Arrival in Mumbai
You'll get picked up at the airport and driven to your hotel. Since check-in happens at noon, if you arrive before that, you'll have time to rest and recover from the flight. It's a good chance to settle in and shake off the travel fatigue.

Mumbai City Tour
After breakfast, you'll spend the full day seeing Mumbai's major sites. Your guide takes you to the Gateway of India, Taj Hotel, Prince of Wales Museum, Mumbai High Court, University, Marine Drive, Hanging Garden, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus. You'll also stop at Tower of Silence, Mani Bhavan, Jain Temple, World Trade Centre, Jehangir Art Gallery, Nehru Planetarium, and Haji Ali. Throughout the day, you'll hit street stalls for local snacks like Pav Bhaji, Bhel Puri, and Pani Puri.

Mumbai to Ahmedabad
The morning is yours to do as you wish. Later, you'll head to Mumbai Railway Station and board a train to Ahmedabad, India's first UNESCO World Heritage City and the largest city in Gujarat. When you arrive at Ahmedabad railway station, a driver transfers you to your hotel.

- Day 4
Ahmedabad Heritage Tour & Modhera and Patan Excursion
You'll start with a 2 to 3 hour heritage walk through Ahmedabad, beginning at Swaminarayan Temple Kalupur and hitting 20 main cultural and heritage sites before wrapping up at the 15th-century Jama Masjid. After that, you'll take a trip to Modhera and Patan to see the Sun Temple from 1026 CE, the Rani-ki-vav stepwell with its intricate carvings, and the Adalaj stepwell. Back in Ahmedabad, dinner is at a traditional local restaurant serving Ayurvedic cuisine on leaf plates and bowls, and you'll sit cross-legged on the floor.

Ahmedabad to Udaipur
In the morning, you'll board a train heading to Udaipur, which is about 260km away. Udaipur is known for its scenic setting, Rajput-era royal palaces, old havelis, and luxury hotels. The city sits on Lake Pichola, a man-made lake from 1362. Once you arrive, you'll be transferred to your hotel. The evening is free to explore Udaipur on your own.

Udaipur Palace & Temple Tour with Cooking Class
You'll start by checking out the City Palace, a complex built by various Maharanas and finished in 1725. You enter through the Tripolia Gate to see latticed balconies and ornate towers. Next, head to Jagdish Temple, built in 1651 by Maharana Jagat Singh and the biggest temple in Udaipur. In the afternoon, walk through Sahelion Ki Bari with its fountains, pools, and carved pavilions. The evening includes a cooking class where you'll learn Rajasthani and home-style recipes like chai, chapattis, sweet and potato paratha, garlic naan, and dal with eggplant curry from a home cook, then you'll have dinner.

Udaipur to Salt Lake, Rajasthan
You'll board the train, then drive for 2 hours to reach the Salt Lake of Rajasthan, home to India's largest inland salt lake. After checking in at your resort, lunch is served. You'll experience salt harvesting on a toy train where you learn about salt production and talk with workers. The evening is free to explore the resort or watch migratory birds like flamingoes. If you're interested, stargazing by lantern light happens at night when the salt-crusted banks sparkle under the stars.

Salt Lake to Jaipur
After breakfast at a relaxed pace, you can take an optional early morning trip to a nearby village to see rural life, sip tea at a local chai shop, and walk along the salt lake banks. Back at the resort you'll have breakfast again before checkout. From there, drive to Jaipur (the Pink City) and check into your hotel. Once you've freshened up, start sightseeing with the Hawa Mahal, built so royal women could watch the city without being seen. You'll visit the City Palace, now a museum, then try local street food with fresh, tasty Jaipur specialties.

Meet at your hotel in the morning for the morning aarti (prayer chanting) at Govind Devji Temple at City Palace, an 18th-century Krishna temple where crowds chant songs to the deity and you'll get blessings. Next, check out the wholesale flower market near Hawa Mahal where vendors trade sacks of roses and marigolds. Stop at a chaiwalla on Chaura Raasta for cardamom tea in a Kullad (clay cup), a Rajasthan specialty. Back at the hotel for breakfast, then you'll checkout and drive to Amber Fort, a hilltop citadel with the Sheesh Mahal showcasing Hindu and Muslim architecture and views of the Aravalli Hills. Later, drive to Agra for check-in. The evening is free to explore Sadar Bazar and Food Street of Agra.

You'll see the Taj Mahal at sunrise, the famous monument built by Shah Jahan to honor his wife Mumtaz over 20 years. The sunrise visit gives you better views and fewer people, so it feels more peaceful. After breakfast, you'll visit Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with the magical Jahangir Palace and an impressive collection of palaces and mosques. Then you'll drive to New Delhi and check in at your hotel for the night.
