    Arrival

    You'll arrive in Los Angeles and get transferred to your hotel. This is a settling-in day, so take time to get comfortable in your room and look around. Stop by the reception desk to pick up information about the tour and when everything officially starts. They'll confirm the details during the afternoon.

  2. Day 2

    Los Angeles

    After breakfast, the day kicks off with a panoramic tour through LA covering the Music Center, Civic Center, and Financial Center near LA Live and Staples Center. You'll head west along Wilshire Boulevard through the Korean Quarter into Beverly Hills, then follow Sunset Boulevard to Hollywood where you'll see the Walk of Fame, Dolby Theater, Chinese Theater, and views of the Hollywood sign. Lunch is on your own with free time to walk around. Later in the afternoon, you'll transfer to Long Beach to explore Shoreline Village and grab dinner at one of the waterfront restaurants near the Queen Mary.

    An early departure takes you to Arizona with a stop in Seligman on historic Route 66. Then you'll reach the Grand Canyon, arriving mid-morning to explore with your guide. After breakfast and an early start, you'll stop at Zabriskie Point to photograph the remnants of ancient salt lakes. Next comes Badwater, the lowest point in the USA at 282 feet below sea level. You'll have a typical western lunch, then continue across the mountain range along Lake Isabella toward Bakersfield.
